The personal touch

Navigating post-16 education can be challenging and it is by no means a 'one-size fits all' approach. It is for this reason that we approach things in a different way. We offer bespoke pathways that enable you to achieve and progress. 

 

Typical grades: Mainly A*s, A’s and a couple of B’s at GCSE, 6 and above in English and Maths

Typical courses: 3 A-Level’s, which are now all taken at the end of Year 13. An additional EPQ (see course handbook) might be taken to support you area of interest, University’s love this qualification!

Extras: 
- EPQ support and tutoring
- University mentoring scheme
- UCAS programme
- Critical thinking coaching
- Foreign residential built around your A-Level courses
- Small class sizes (max 18)

Destinations: Most likely your destination will be University. In recent years students have progressed to all Russell group Universities and even Harvard in America!

Typical grades: Mostly B’s with a couple of C’s at GCSEs, 4 and above in English and Maths

Typical courses: You might do one or two A-levels and one or two specialist BTECs. For example Economics and Digital Games Design. Lots of different combinations can be taken, with 3 the ideal number.

Extras: 
- 6 week work placements per year
- Employer engagement programme every Wednesday
- Personal Coach and employer mentor
- CV and interview masterclasses
- UCAS programme
- Small class sizes (max 18)

Destinations: You might chose University or you might chose to go straight into employment, either with one of Logic’s employer partners or elsewhere! You will certainly be employable.

Typical grades: Minimum 5C’s including Maths or English, 4 and above in English and Maths

Typical courses: You will mainly do BTEC Level 3 qualifications. We might need to sneak in a Maths or English retake but hopefully not!

- Apprenticeship application support
- Small class sizes (max 18)

Destinations: University is still an option. However you might chose to go straight into employment or even start an apprenticeship. You will have gained confidence and skills to make the choice.
