Pupil Premium Funding
The Pupil Premium Grant is additional funding provided by the Government to support the education of the most socio-economically disadvantaged students in Years 7 - 11. The funding is specifically targeted to those eligible for free school meals in the least 6 years. Looked after children attract additional funding which is managed by the Virtual School in Hounslow and has to be applied for by the school on a proof of need basis. Springwest has a high proportion of students eligible for Pupil Premium additional funding. In 2016 -17, 367 students receive deprivation funding and a further 4 attract Service Pupil Premium.
The school receives a total allocation of £328,450.00 which is shortfall of £15,895 on actual current numbers that are eligible.
