At Springwest we are ambitious for our community and have established Chess as part of our school life to help promote  intellectual virtues. This week we held our first ‘House Chess’ event which was very well attended by both students and staff.

 

A total of 760 points were awarded which supports our House vision of encouraging healthy competition and increased participation. Lubna Al Badri (Attenborough) was the most successful player with five victories and the winning House was Farah house with a total of 230 points.
