Word of the Week

At Springwest, literacy is one of our key priorities. Students discuss 'Word of the Week' in their tutor groups and try to use the word in as many contexts and lessons as possible over the week. We would also love for students to use the 'Word of the Week' at home.

Vocabulary acquisition supports our knowledge rich curriculum; giving students the words that they need to have meaningful discussions and debates about different topics.
