9LGO enjoyed a trip into central London by train and tube, a walking tour and a trip on the London Eye. Students saw democracy in action; witnessing a friendly protest about protecting our bees! They also identified historical figures they had studied from the statues in Parliament Square. Students saw Downing Street and the Horse Guards on their way to Trafalgar Square. They admired Nelson's column and learnt about the Battle of Trafalgar.

After a short walk over the Thames, students took a ride on the London Eye and identified many of London's top landmarks. The day ended with lunch in the Jubilee Gardens. Students showed exemplary behaviour on the trip and had a wonderful day.
