Springwest Baccalaureate

The Springwest Baccalaureate 

In September 2024, we became accredited by the National Baccalaureate Trust, to run the Springwest Baccalaureate or "SpringBacc". 

The National Baccalaureate Trust advocates that students should be recognised for their personal development alongside their academic development. Both our KS3 and KS4 Baccalaureates consist of three parts: Character Development, Achievement and Attitudes and a Personal Project. Teachers and students will be recording students' participation in extra-curricular activities, school events, volunteering opportunities, trips and other school activities. 

Students who demonstrate their commitment to holistic development, alongside a positive attitude to learning, good punctuality and completion of a successful personal project will receive the SpringBacc at our Celebration of Success Evening.
