Our New Springwest Logo

We are really proud of our new logo and the meanings behind the different aspects of it. A raven, representing wisdom and intelligence, sits confidently on top of a book, reflecting our dedication to teaching and learning. The chevron is a heraldic symbol signifying protection and the mantling links to the location of the school which was part of Henry VIII's hunting grounds. Finally the acorn is a symbol of growth, representing our focus on character development and reminding us of the phrase "Might oaks, from little acorns grow". The three acorns highlight our three values- Believe, Belong, Flourish.
Our new motto 'Benignitas Prima' is written at the bottom of the badge, reminding us to always act in a kind and thoughtful way in order to promote mutual respect, wellbeing and joy in our community.
