Year 11 Trip to Barcelona

The Y11s had a fantastic time in Barcelona last week. We were so impressed with students' eagerness to immerse themselves into Spanish culture and the language.
Students tried traditional Spanish food such as paella, churros and croquettes. Students also had the opportunity to practise their Spanish in La Boquería, an authentic Spanish market, as well as in local shopping centres and souvenir shops.
We saw some renowned tourist sites like la Sagrada Familia, Arc de Triomf and the Picasso Museum. We also had the best time in Portaventura, a theme park near Barcelona, getting drenched on water rides and screaming 'Springwest' at the top of our lungs before we sped off on Furius Baco at 135km/h.
The students made us proud with their impeccable behaviour and fun company. It was truly an unforgettable experience that we feel students will hold with them for a lifetime.
