Community Pride Week

This half term we had our first Community Pride Week to promote community cohesion at Springwest and in Feltham. Our PSHE lessons focused on the importance of community and included a celebration of our school and local area, including Feltham's rich history. We also launched a new habit 'Community Pride' to remind students about the importance of keeping our school and local spaces clean and tidy. Throughout the week the Eco-Committee spent time litter picking at school and in Feltham High Street, showcasing their amazing civic virtues and dedication to improving our environment. In addition, some of our KS4 students attended a mural opening at Emily Cafe having worked with students at St. Lawrence's Primary School and the charity Timegivers to create the bird mosaics that now feature on the building.
