Kingston College Engineering Trip

The Year 11 Engineering students visited Kingston College for an exciting taster session, giving them a glimpse into life as an Engineering student. During the visit, they were given a tour of the college and its impressive workshops, where they could see a range of professional equipment and facilities in action. The highlight of the day was a hands-on demonstration of industry-standard CAD (Computer-Aided Design) processes, where students had the opportunity to design and create their own keytag. They also heard from current Kingston College students, who shared their experiences and insights about studying engineering and progressing toward future careers. The session was both inspiring and informative, helping the Year 11s understand the practical and creative aspects of Engineering education.
