Springwest Scholars trip to Oxford University
BackOn Wednesday 4th February our Springwest Scholars went on a trip to Oxford University where they listened to a talk, toured Somerville College and took part in a critical thinking 'Oxplore' workshop. The workshop lead was extremely impressed by their debating and public speaking skills, saying that they were better than many Sixth Form groups! Our Scholars club meets weekly and students are invited to join if they show high levels of motivation and curiosity to learn beyond the curriculum.
