Springwest on the News

Our Principal joined 'Ridge and Frost' on Sky News to discuss the latest report by NFER on how bad behaviour is forcing teachers out of the profession. Mr Hart shared how Springwest teaches Character, has created a Culture of kindness and adopts a Servant leadership approach to ensure teachers can focus on learning, which of course is the main thing.

At Springwest we are bucking the trend on retention with 80% of staff having worked 3 years or more and 35% having been at the school for 10 years or more. We have introduced a Boomerang award because we have so many staff wanting to return after joining other schools. 

Our wellbeing measures are high and the sense of togetherness between staff and students is something to be proud of.
