Globe Theatre Trip

On Monday 16th March our Year 10 students visited the Globe Theatre in Central London to watch a production of Romeo and Juliet. 

Our Year 10s represented Springwest so well with fantastic behaviour and excellent engagement. Students really enjoyed watching live theatre and seeing how the play had been interpreted to make it more relevant to the modern audience, whilst using the original Shakespearean language.

This trip was a great introduction to Romeo and Juliet which they will study in Year 11 as part of their GCSE English Literature course.
