Oxford University Visit

On Monday 16th March we welcomed visitors from the University of Oxford to Springwest to give a talk about University life. The talk was very well attended by Springwest Scholars and Year 11 students. The presenters spoke about application to university, including the importance of super-curricular activities. They also explained what life is like at university and how to decide where to apply.

The visitors were impressed with our students, reporting that "We found it really rewarding to present to and answer questions from such a bright cohort of students, we were particularly impressed with their level of engagement with our presentation".

Well done to all students who attended for showing excellent intellectual virtues.
